## Kacey Smith, M.S., CCC-SLP

Kacey Smith is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist. She earned a B.S. from Texas A&M University and an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Woman's University. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.

Kacey's clinical experience includes public schools, private practice, and a pediatric outpatient clinic at a nationally ranked children's hospital. She evaluates and treats children with speech sound disorders, speech delays, receptive and expressive language delays and disorders, autism spectrum disorder, neurological impairments, cleft palate, hearing impairments, stuttering, and motor speech disorders.

Her specialty includes Social Thinking® methodology, an intervention and assessment framework for social learning challenges. Her approach promotes independent pragmatic problem-solving through individualized, engaging therapy activities.
